Return Policy

1.General Return Conditions

At UMW Recordings Inc., we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with everydigital service and product we offer. This Return Policy outlines theconditions and limitations under which returns and refunds are accepted. Itapplies exclusively to digital services or subscription plans provided by UMWRecordings Inc., and is governed by the terms set forth below.

2.Return Eligibility

Subscriptions & Auto-Renewals

Annual subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Where required by law, we will send a renewal reminder at least 30 days in advance stating price and how to cancel. Upgrades take effect immediately and may be prorated; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Unless required by law, renewal fees are non-refundable once the new term starts.

Evidence of Non-Use

Eligibility requires that no paid features have been accessed. UMW may review access logs, upload records, activations, analytics, and support tickets to confirm non-use. Submitting false or misleading information may result in denial of the request and account action under our Anti-Fraud Policy.

You may request a refund within 72 hours (3 calendar days) from the date ofpurchase of an annual plan, provided that all the following conditions arestrictly met:

  • The  account has not been used to distribute, upload, or publish any content.
  • No  advanced or premium features of the plan have been activated.
  • No content (music, video, artwork, metadata, etc.) has been uploaded,  processed, or distributed.
  • The user has not received personalized support, onboarding, or account  customization.
  • The  user has not generated royalty reports, analytics, invoices, or requested  tax documentation.
  • The  service was not purchased under a promotional, discounted, or  affiliate-linked rate.

Allrefund requests are subject to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Anti-Fraud Policy of UMW Recordings Inc.

3.Subscriptions & Auto-Renewals

Submitting false or misleading information may result in denial of the request and account action under our Anti-Fraud Policy.

4.Non-Refundable Items and Scenarios

Refundswill not be granted under any of the following conditions:

  • You  purchased a monthly plan (all monthly plans are non-refundable).
  • You  accessed, used, or activated any portion of the service or its features.
  • You   breached the Terms of Use or engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or prohibited     conduct.
  • You  were suspended or terminated due to copyright violations or policy     breaches.
  • Your  refund request was submitted after the 72-hour eligibility window.
  • The service was transferred, resold, or gifted to a third party.
  • The  purchase was made using a voucher, affiliate code, or third-party  promotional credit.

5.Refund Processing Time

Ifyour refund request is approved, the refund will be processed as follows:

  • Refunds will be issued exclusively to the original payment method used.
  • Processing  time may take up to 10 business days, depending on your bank or  payment provider.
  • You  will receive written confirmation via email once the refund has been  initiated.

Effects of Refund. Upon approval and issuance of a refund: (i) your access to paid features may be revoked; (ii) any licenses or rights granted under the plan terminate; and (iii) UMW may retain records as required for legal, tax, audit, or anti-fraud purposes pursuant to our Privacy Policy.

Chargebacks. Initiating a chargeback without first notifying UMW via finance@umwrecordingsinc.com may violate this Policy. We may suspend or cancel accounts, revoke access, and contest unwarranted disputes with the payment provider. We encourage amicable resolution through our support channels.

Payments, Currencies & Fees

Refunds are processed to the original payment method and currency, subject to bank/provider exchange rates and fees. Third-party processing fees may be non-refundable if not recoverable from the provider. UMW is not responsible for bank delays or conversion losses.

6.How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request within the applicable window, please:

  1. Contact us at refund@umwrecordingsinc.com or via Contact Form with subject “Refund Request”.
  2. Provide: full name, account email, order ID, purchase date, plan, and a brief explanation.
  3. Attach proof of purchase (receipt/invoice).
  4. We will acknowledge your request within 2–3 business days and aim to provide a final decision within 10 business days. If more time is required due to complexity or third-party checks, we will notify you in writing.

7.Charge backs and Abuse

Initiatinga chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting our support teamconstitutes a violation of this policy. UMW Recordings Inc. reserves theright to:

  • Immediately  suspend or permanently cancel your account
  • Revoke access to current and future services
  • Block you from making future purchases or registrations

Important: In the event of disputesinitiated through payment platforms such as Stripe among others undercategories like "Product unacceptable" or "Fraudulent,"without legitimate grounds and without prior contact with support, UMWRecordings Inc. may submit the following as evidence:

  • Acceptance of this policy at the time of purchase
  • Logs of  account usage, access to services, and any performed activity
  • Screenshots  and original billing records

Additional Clause: Thecustomer agrees that initiating a dispute or chargeback without verifiablejustification and without having first requested assistance through our supportchannels constitutes a serious violation of this policy. This may result inpermanent suspension of the account, loss of service access, and denial offuture transactions.

Wereserve the right to challenge such disputes with the relevant financialinstitution and request reinstatement of withheld funds. We strongly recommendresolving any issues amicably through our support channels before taking anyexternal action.

Jurisdiction-Specific Mandatory Rights.

Certain consumer rights may override parts of this Policy. For example, in the EU/UK, consumers may have a 14-day withdrawal right for digital services not yet supplied/initiated. Where such laws apply, UMW will honor those rights. This clause prevails in the event of conflict.

8.Policy Amendments

UMWRecordings Inc. reserves the right to modify this Return Policy at any time.Changes will take effect upon being published on our website. However, material modifications will not apply retroactively to existing transactions withoutreasonable prior notice.

9.Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Return Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ecuador. Any dispute arising from or related to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
