Connect step UMW to Apple for Artist.

Step 1: Initial Configuration Setup

From your UMW Dashboard, go to Integrations → Apple for Artists.Click “Connect” and enter the Apple ID associated with your artist profile.

‍Step 2: Submit Artist Verification Data

Fill out the required fields:

• Artist Name
• Email linked to Apple ID
• Official Artist Channel URL (Apple Music profile link)
• Relationship with Profile (e.g., Artist, Manager, Label)
• Social Media URL (to confirm ownership and identity)
• Identity Document (upload government-issued ID if requested)
• UPC or ISRC codes of released tracks (for verification).

‍Step 3: Apple Review & Approval

Apple Music will verify your request by cross-checking:

• Identity documents.
• Existing music catalog (via UPC/ISRC).
• Ownership proof through email or label connection.

The Status column in your UMW Dashboard will show:

• Pending – waiting for Apple’s response.
• Approved – access granted.
• Rejected – corrections needed (resubmit).

‍Step 4: Access Insights & Analytics

Once approved, you’ll unlock full access to:

• Real-time streaming analytics (plays, skips, purchases).
• Audience demographics (age, gender, territory).
• Performance by track/album.
• Shazam data to see where your music is being discovered.

This data is synchronized directly with your UMW dashboard for central management.
