To qualify for Apple Digital Masters, your tracks must:

• Be delivered in 24-bit audio resolution.
• Meet Apple’s Mastering Guidelines (no clipping, balanced dynamics, optimized loudness).
• Be uploaded through an approved distributor (UMW included).

Step 2: Preparing Your Audio Files

• Ensure your final masters are exported in 24-bit WAV or AIFF.
• Avoid unnecessary compression; keep maximum fidelity.
• Follow Apple’s official best practices for mastering.

UMW’s system will automatically check your files for compliance before submission.

Step 3: Delivery & Verification

• Upload your audio files to UMW and mark them as Apple Digital Master eligible.
• Our delivery system sends them to Apple with the ADM flag.
• Apple performs quality checks to confirm compliance.
